AETN International
AETN International markets the quality programming and proven success of The History Channel, A&E Network, The Biography Channel and Crime & Investigation Network overseas. With offices in New York and London, AETN International has increased the presence of AETN channels and branded blocks worldwide through innovative partnerships and affiliations. Overall, AETN channels and programs are now available in more than 127 territories throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia (including China and Japan), reaching over 220 million TV households in over 20 languages. Each international channel is operated and programmed directly by local management, and AETN International works closely with management teams to help develop program schedules tailored to each market, and to create successful marketing and branding campaigns for the networks.
Successful Partnerships
With its dedicated team of professionals, AETN International builds unique and successful partnerships with other networks around the world with the goal of launching channels or branded programming blocks in new territories. Rather than take the U.S. feeds of The History Channel and The Biography Channel, each international affiliate is operated and programmed directly by local management. AETN International works closely with each channel to help them develop program schedules tailored to each market and to create successful marketing and branding campaigns for the networks. The History Channel and The Biography Channel affiliates carry reformatted series and specials acquired from the U.S. networks, as well as locally produced programming.
